| The
workshop is situated in North Herefordshire. A county in the
West of England close to the border of Wales. The area remains
close to its rural heritage with farming the predominant activity.
Its scenic beauty and quiet slow pace way of life has attracted
many artists/crafts people.
Paul
and Claudia divide their time between commission work and
exhibition/gallery pieces. The commission process starts with
an initial discussion with the client, through design, drawing
and prototypes. There is often input from both client and
artists which makes the commission side of work exciting and
individual.
Paul and Claudia work together in their
small forge both have &distinct ideas and methods of working
sometimes complementary other times not! Every piece, large
commissions to small gallery items are made by Paul and Claudia
making every piece unique. |
